Adding Observers to your exercise
Like everyone else who accesses an exercise,
the Observers need a login so they have to be
added to the Teams table.
When creating your Teams, add the
observer by navigating to Players > Teams > + Add observer
As an Observer, you have access to the
Facilitator Dashboard, where it's possible to
follow in real time your players' decisions
and replies. See Timeline and Decisions for more information.
Assessment & After Action
Review
In addition to the real time data,
Observers also have access to these
features:
- Assessment Toolkit
- After Action Review
a. Assessment Toolkit
This feature allows Observers to capture
qualitative assessments by scoring
exhibited behaviours and checking expected
actions.
1. Assess each participant individually. 2. Save changes to add them
to the Assessment | |
1. Check and compare results
in the Capabilities
Matrix. 2. Export the data in a CSV
file |
b. After Action Review
The AAR is a Special Permission that can be given to any participant; they do not need to be an Observer. For Observers who need this permission, you will need to use the Moderator Grid so that you have the Observer logged into the right side of the grid and an additional player logged in on the left side. This means the Observer needs TWO logins - one as an Observer and one as a Player with AAR permission.
1. Drag and drop the special permission "Evaluation (AAR)" to your player 2. Save changes
1. As the player with the AAR permission click on the content you want to comment on 2. After the session, export the data in a Word document
