Enabling InfoMap

If your license type includes InfoMap, you can enable it in the Scenario Editor. Go to Style > Customize Channels > InfoMap and click 'Active' so your players can see it as an independent channel in their Virtual Desktop.

Add persona location in Scenario Editor

While creating your personas in the Scenario Editor, you can assign them a location in their Persona configuration panel. That is where their posts will be displayed on the InfoMap. 

Go to the Personas tab and double click any available persona to edit it. This is available for regular Personas and for Pattern of Life Personas.

Editing Location During an Exercise

There are two options for changing persona locations:

  • via Facilitator Dashboard in the Personas tab - for facilitators and observers
  • via special permissions assigned to a player.

How to assign geolocation permissions to players

1. In the Facilitator Dashboard, go to Manage > Manage Teams > Special Permissions.
2. Drag "Edit Players Geolocation" to any player you want to have that permission.

How to modify geolocation in Virtual Desktop

Once a player has this permission assigned, they can modify persona's location.
1. In the Virtual Desktop, click on the Persona's profile in social media
2. Click on the pin next to the profile image.
