Goal

  • be able to prepare the main InstaMedia page and create content for it

Summary

InstaMedia is a dedicated channel that emulates picture blogging images such as Instagram. This channel allows recreating organization and personal pages, where to comment and post as in real life.

Preparing the main InstaMedia feed


There is only one main InstaMedia feed per scenario. All Instagram posts will be published there.

You can customize it in Style > Customize channels > InstaMedia tab

Here, you will be able to customise:

  • Icon - Image that will represent the channel in the left menu
  • Header logo - Image on top of the feed in the Virtual desktop

To be able to see it, you need to Publish your scenario. Once in the Virtual desktop, this page will appear when content is published to the InstaMedia channel. It will look like this:

Creating InstaMedia content

You can add InstaMedia content in the Scenario Editor in two ways:

 Using List view

1. Click on +Add (navy blue button)
2. Select InstaMedia in method drop-down

You can customise:
- Exercise time
- Sender
- Post text
- Media attachment
- Message destination

If InstaMedia channel is enabled in your exercise, you can find it in the Virtual desktop by clicking the channel icon on the left menu. 

Once there, click on the + button to select an image (from file, camera or URL), write a caption and click Share.

Comment

Type your comment on the text field available below each post to respond to it.

Click on the three dot icon in any of your posts to delete
