Conducttr is a scenario-based training platform that can be used for a wide range of purposes and in a wide range of configurations.

Experiences built with Conducttr range from expansive virtual information environments for live tactical exercises with hundreds of players through to single-player automated experiences.

Main components

Conducttr allows anyone to create facilitator-led and self-paced interactive experiences. It's aimed at the any sector where immersive scenarios are used for development, training, recruitment, onboarding and assessment. A key area of use is crisis simulations.

Our ecosystem comprises the following components:
  • Scenario Editor - this is where you create your exercise
  • Facilitator Dashboard - this is the secure web application for facilitator-led exercises that controls the exercise pacing and receives real-time data about the performance of the training audience
  • Virtual Desktop - this is the secure web application used by the training audience (players)

How it works

Conducttr  experiences run in a secure web application.

Players don’t need to download any software - it runs right in their HTML5 browser on desktop, tablet or mobile.

However, you are the scenario creator and for players to experience your exercise you’ll need to design it and upload it to the web application. We call this “publishing to your Space”.

The Conducttr service comprises the following components (numbers refer to those in the diagram above):

  1. The scenario editor is where you create your scenario. After creating it you publish it to the Conducttr, the cloud platform that allows everything else to work.
  2. The exercise is received by the facilitator (if you have a facilitated exercise). The facilitator uses the facilitator dashboard to control the exercise pacing
  3. Players log in to a secure web application to access the scenario and receive the content as the exercise runs.
  4. You can have role-players interacting with your players in real time which means that your exercise can be very open or very scripted - the choice is yours.

Space Numbers

When you publish your scenario, it’s hosted in a space.

Although you can create and store many scenarios locally, your space can only hold and run one scenario at a time.

Your “space number” was given to you in your registration email.
