How to add images in email body
1. Create an inject and select the email channel

2. Add text & attach media
Add text in the content box and attach your two media assets.
More on how to attach media can be found here

3. Using smartwords
To insert the first image type {assets.1} and then {assets.2} to insert the second.
When it sizes the image, it is done by width. So if you need a small image, add a lot of white space to one side (or both if you need it in the middle).

4. Player View
Images will now appear within the body of the text. Here is the player view:
