Course Details
Firstly, we will dive into how you can design an exercise that focuses on engagement, defining clear player goals, and to make sure you are prepared for all possible outcomes. Part of this will involve exploring how to effectively use role players, assign special permissions and positions; we will also go through impersonation guides and a testing checklist.
You will also learn how to get the best out of your Exercise Control team, learning how to easily role-play different stakeholders and use this to manage participation from players. We will explore different monitoring tools to review player engagement and how to control the pace of the exercise. Lastly, you will learn how to get the best out of your training audience; some participants may be reluctant to get involved, or alternatively, too dominant within the exercise. We guide you through how to deal with this.
At the outset, we propose a 20-minute consultation to delve into your training goals and objectives. It is expected that you have an exercise that you want to facilitate for a training audience, but if it’s not ready yet, don’t worry! We can always use one of our Conducttr exercises to show you how to adjust your exercise to all possible outcomes. If you’re bringing along your own exercise, we’ll tailor the training to fulfil your specific facilitation needs and your exercise control set up.
